Gold Rush is a seven year old registered Missouri Fox Trotter, standing at 15.1 hands tall. This golden palomino with a snow white mane and tail gelding is great gaited and has loads of trail experience. 

Gold Rush has been there, done that. He will go anywhere you point him to; up a creek bank, through the woods or mountainside. This is a personable gelding with a kind and quiet personality. Gold Rush has a smooth gait and lopes on both leads with simple changes. You can ride him bareback, double or bridle-less. He’s is very reliable! Gold Rush is broke to whips, gunfire and dogs. 

Gold Rush neck reins with ease. You can side pass and mount him from anything. He stands wonderfully to saddle, unsaddle, groom and quiet for the farrier as well. You can load/unload him with no problem on the trailer. Gold Rush loves to walk at liberty, he’ll follow you anywhere! He’s steady and will ride all day long. Gold Rush is very aware of his riders and their ages/experience.

Affectionately known as Millions, this four-year-old chocolate silver dapple is a great-minded gelding with an impeccable gait and iconic, slow lope. He will be the envy of any crowd across the United States. Millions stands at 15.3 hands tall, just shy of fitting underneath the Christmas Tree! 

Millions has been in our professional training program for a year and three months. We’ve all loved him immensely every minute he’s been here. Millions has been trained by our six different trainers, both males and females of all ages; he’s certainly not a one man’s horse. Millions loves his job for whoever’s riding him, even three riders deep with a three-year-old holding the reins. This strong built and loving gelding can suit a wide range of needs. 

Millions lays down on voice command, and you may also mount him while down. He’s broke to drive and ground ties. From skeet shooting off his back to mounted shooting while he’s gaiting to shooting on the ground, Millions is used to guns of every nature. He also has experience riding with a flag and whips. Millions has been ridden along highways with five lanes of heavy traffic often, as well as being comfortable around farm equipment.  He has been extensively ridden by himself on trails and in a group. Leading, following, or alone, he’s not herd bound. Millions can confidently conquer steep banks and tough terrain in the woods and water with ease. He absolutely loves the water! Millions is your best companion regardless of what situation you’re in. He’s been ridden bridle-less while gaiting and loping. Millions can also be ridden with just a halter. Experienced with working bird dogs, he has the potential to be a phenomenal field trial horse. Millions side passes readily to anything: a mounting block, the back of your truck, or from the side of a Polaris. He’s easy to saddle, bridle, load, and unload. He will also follow you at liberty. Millions is one of a kind; His looks, strong presence, and gait stand out in any crowd! His gait and lope are smooth from start to finish. 

Millions is such a diverse gelding suited for a wide range of lifestyles. On the plantation scene, trail riding with your family on weekends, hunting way up in the mountains, or field trialing.

🔥 Loid Stables proudly introduces one of our favorite geldings of all time, Gunsmoke.

Gunsmoke has enjoyed two years of continuous training and as two year old was trail ridden all through Tennessee and Alabama. In the past year that he’s been in our training program, we’re continually reminded of what a special horse he is with his willingness and eagerness to learn. Gunsmoke is even our first horse to lay down by voice command!

Gunsmoke is not only personable and affectionate, he has an incredible amount of training and experience under his belt.

This exceptional 3 year old gelding has been trail ridden all across Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia, by both novice and experienced riders as young as 8 years old. He’s even been trail ridden at Mammoth Cave National Park with just a halter and lead rein when his bridle was left at the barn. Gunsmoke is ready to take on the toughest of trails and water or the easiest of rides. He does well in any order of groups; leading the pack, in the middle or the back.

Gunsmoke has an incredibly smooth gait and lope. He has experience working bird dogs as well as gunfire and whips. Gunsmoke has no issue riding bareback or double if needed. He stands quietly for grooming, saddling and bathing. Gunsmoke has been ridden many times with a flag at his side and he also ground ties. He’s no stranger to highway traffic as well.

Our training facility hosts seasonal birthday parties dubbed, “The Birthday Barn,” where Gunsmoke was the main attraction. From toddlers to teenagers, Gunsmoke was led for well over 700 horse rides this year. There are often bouncy houses, balloons, loud music and lots of children playing during parties, all obstacles Gunsmoke grew accustomed to. Gunsmoke serves as a phenomenal ambassador to both children and adults who have never been around horses nor ridden one before.

Gunsmoke has been used in several therapeutic riding sessions as well as regular riding lessons for novice riders of different ages. He is well minded and can be ridden by a range of riders!

Gunsmoke will sidepass to anything you may need to mount from and will park out on command. He’s eager to please! He lays down on voice command and can be mounted while laying down as well.

Crimson Steel, affectionately known as Brody, is a registered 5 year old TWH gelding. Standing at 15.2 hands, this is a talented blue roan that’s been trail ridden and camped all his life.

From the show ring to the backwood trails of Kentucky, we proudly introduce Copperfield’s Boot Scoot. At three years old, this stunning flaxen mane and tail gelding has been there and done that. Boots has been in our professional training program for over a year and is ready for a lifetime of adventure! 

Boots was formerly owned by a 77 year old gentleman and shown in the Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund Horse Shows (KBIF) as a two year old. Boots has rode extensively through Mammoth Cave and many miles of other rigorous Kentucky trails and water. He’s eager to please and will calmly go wherever you want him to, even up a steep creek bank or other tricky trail obstacles. Boots is comfortable riding with a group of horses, leading away from the pack or joining a pack. Boots is not herd bound, he’s very independently minded. 

Standing at 15.1 hands tall, Boots has one of the best rocking chair canters that the Tennessee Walking horse breed is famous for as well as the smoothest gait that the TWH is famous for. He’s very affectionate and takes to many different levels and ages of riders on his back well. Gentle and puppy like, he’s a very special gelding from World Champion bloodlines that will walk through the fire for you.

Boots has done a wonderful job taking to roding bird dogs. He’s no stranger to gunfire, whips or even heavy traffic by the highway. Boots will sidepass to a mounting block all with the snap of a finger. With his good wits, he’s very aware of the rider on his back, especially the younger or inexperienced ones. Boots will stand like a dream to groom, saddle, bathe and is very easy to catch in a stall or out in a pasture. He will also lay down on cue. Boots can be rode bridle-less and even double. He’s well minded and has been an absolute pleasure to train. 

Our training program, with decades of professional experience, is designed to prepare our horses for any and every situation they may come into contact in. We take a tremendous amount of pride with what horse gets our ‘Golden Standard’ seal of approval. Safety for both horses and riders is always our top concern and with Boots’ super calm disposition, this is one gelding that will make a phenomenal horse for many years to come.

Dapplin’ in Cash, affectionately known as Cash, is a three year old registered TWH gelding, standing at 15.1 hands tall. This dapple gray beauty is suited for a wide range of riders from experienced to novice. From his gait to his temperament, Cash lives up to his pedigree. 

Cash is broke to traffic of all kinds; cars, trucks, tractors and machinery. You may even ride him bareback or double. He has a wonderful gait and is broke to lope. Neck reins, side passes, ground ties, lays down on cue, drives a cart, this gelding has all the bells and whistles. Cash is wonderful with dogs and is broke to gunfire whether mounted or shooting from off the ground. While trail riding, Cash is comfortable wherever you need him to be; at the front of the pack, middle, back or even separate and ride independently. He takes to the woods and water very nicely, Cash is always ready and willing to go anywhere you wish to take him. 

Cash stands wonderfully and quietly to clip and bathe. He’s also easy to catch in a stall or pasture. Whether you’re loading forward, backward, alone or with other horses, loading and unloading in a horse trailer is a breeze. 

Our training program, marked with decades of professional experience, is designed to prepare our horses for many different situations they may come into contact with. We take a great amount of pride on determining which horses receive our ‘Gold Standard’ seal of approval. Cash is a superstar with an entire lifetime of adventures ahead of him!

By bidding, you agree and are bound to the terms and conditions listed below:

- Deposit due to Seller: 10% of purchase price to be paid within 2 hours of Lot closing. We accept a deposit payment VIA PayPal or Venmo. If you do not have a PAYPAL or VENMO account prior to the end of auction, we ask that you please create one or make arrangements with a family member/friend that does. Payment will need to be sent through the ‘friends and family’ setting or an additional fee may ensue.

- Remaining balance is to be paid in full to Seller the following business day by the close of the Sellers financial institution (time zone of the Seller) via wire transfer. 

- Bank information for the wire transfer as well as our PAYPAL or VENMO info will be given during the initial phone call between us and the winning bidder following the end of auction. You are responsible for transportation and transportation arrangements, the horse must be picked up within two weeks of the auction ending or additional boarding fees will ensue.
